GrainTech™ Series Wood-Grained Steel Doors Expanded by Steelcraft®

Steelcraft has recently expanded its GrainTech™ series of wood-grained steel doors. Now available in multiple designs, these stainable steel doors provide the beauty of wood with all the features and benefits of steel. Unlike veneered or solid wood doors, GrainTech™ doors are fully warranted for use on interior or exterior openings, are less susceptible to damage, and will never warp, crack or bow. The GrainTech™ Series is available with a full range of positive pressure fire ratings, from 20 minutes to 3 hours.

An exclusive engraining and staining process simulates wood in a wide variety of colors, from ash to walnut, including custom color-matching capabilities. Protecting this beautiful stained surface is a high-performance clear coat with excellent UV and graffiti resistance properties.

The GrainTech™ Series doors now include the CE-Series 6-panel embossed design, L-Series laminated full flush design, and T-Series Temperature Rise Rated full flush design.

The CE-Series doors can be ordered in 16 gage extra-heavy duty or 18 gage heavy duty steel. Half-glass, 9 Lite and Top-lite designs are available, featuring Steelcraft's exclusive Dezigner™ Trim. Constructed with polystyrene & honeycomb cores, they are available with fire ratings from 20 minutes to 3 hours.

L-series doors are offered in 16, 18 and 20 gage to fit any application from extra-heavy to standard duty. Top and bottom channels are 14 gage steel, and honeycomb, polystyrene or polyurethane cores are available. Half-glass, 9 Lite and Top-lite designs include Steelcraft's exclusive Dezigner™ Trim.

T-Series doors feature a mineral fiber core that provides a 250 degree temperature rise rating and meets the broadest fire rating requirements. They are listed for both positive and negative pressure standards and are available in 16, 18 and 20 gage to fit any application from extra-heavy to standard duty.

GrainTech™ doors incorporate superior structural and insulation qualities for optimum performance in a broad range of applications. Patented universal hinge preps allow for easy field conversion from standard to heavy weight hinges.
